caps to esc - a better way - setxkbmap

xmodmap is fine but you get this terminal error each time it loads it in the bashrc setxkb is better

vim ~/.setxkbmap_caps_escape.sh

chmod +x ~/.setxkbmap_caps_escape.sh

# in i3 config put...
exec --no-startup-id ~/.setxkbmap_caps_escape.sh
# make sure change home/mint to your user name
# mod shift r to reset i3 config
# or for xfce "Menu" and go to "Preferences" > "Startup Applications." and put
setxkbmap -option caps:escape
